01 · Soften without scraping
Wash hands, pat dry and massage a little moisturiser or cuticle oil around the nail folds.
02 · Leave the seal intact
Do not cut, dig under or forcefully push living cuticles back. Skip the nippers shown in the reference; clip only a loose hangnail with a clean tool if needed.
03 · Prepare for colour
Shape the free edge gently and remove oily residue from the nail plate before polish, following its instructions.
